Hello!

My name is Katie, I have been an overweight, artist most of my life. It wasn’t till the last 5 years I started to make changes into the world of health and fitness. But despite my many 5ks, races, and CrossFit…I still feel like “The Almost Fit Chick”.

This blog is to document my journey here, and my daily struggles with health and fitness. I hope that me expressing and revealing my true insecurities and self, that it helps those who feel the same to know they are not alone, and that anything is possible. Even if you don’t feel that fit.

Being healthy is not easy and STAYING healthy is even harder. It is a daily struggle and takes effort. I want to tell you how I manage what I do, how I deal with my challenges and tell you what is really going on behind the smile.

But don’t worry, this is not a downer blog because even though it is hard. I wouldn’t change it for the world! I am happier doing what I do, even with my setbacks.
